Email account format change UPDATE: Due to a change in the cPanel software, all servers running cPanel will require a change in the mail box format. In some cases, those using a POP3 based email client may find that each message is duplicated in their inbox. SMTP and FTP Authentication Problems Unfortunately, a cPanel bug has caused an SMTP authentication problem. Due to SMTP being used by few users, it went un-noticed for a period causing FTP authentication problems as well.
